About Time Zone Converter

Convert local times between world time zones with daylight-saving support.

The tool is designed to process data in the browser unless the interface explicitly states that a network request is required.

How to use this tool

  1. Enter or select the date, time, timezone value you want to work with.
  2. Review the available settings, then run the convert action.
  3. Review the local time, utc time, unix timestamp output and use the copy or download action when the tool provides one.

What you can do with Time Zone Converter

  • Convert time between countries
  • Find meeting time in another timezone
  • Istanbul saati new yorkta kac

What this conversion does

Convert a date and time from one IANA time zone to another with correct daylight-saving handling, and get the ISO 8601 instant and Unix timestamp.

Example input

2025-06-01 09:00 in Europe/Istanbul → UTC

Example output

Sunday, 1 June 2025 at 06:00:00 GMT · ISO 2025-06-01T06:00:00.000Z · Unix 1748757600

Practical workflow

  1. Enter the date and time, or press Use current time.
  2. Pick the source zone (your browser's zone is marked) and the target zone; UTC is the default target.
  3. Read both cards, copy the target time, and check the ISO 8601 and Unix values in the details card.
  4. Swap the zones to convert in the other direction.

Common use cases

  • Work out what time a webinar announced in Pacific Time starts for you.
  • Convert a server log timestamp in UTC to the local time of the user who reported the issue.
  • Confirm a deadline that is given as end of day in another country.

Important notes and limitations

  • All calculations use the browser's built-in Intl time-zone database — nothing is sent to a server.
  • Daylight saving is applied for each zone on the chosen date. A local time that does not exist because of a spring-forward clock change is flagged as an error; an ambiguous fall-back time resolves to one instant.
  • The zone list comes from your browser, so very new IANA zone names appear only after the browser is updated.

Frequently asked questions

Does the converter handle daylight saving time?

Yes. The offset is computed for the specific date in each zone, so a 09:00 in New York maps to a different UTC time in January than in July.

Why is UTC shown by default?

UTC is the reference used by servers, logs, and APIs. Pick any other zone from the list if you need a specific city.

What does “That local time does not exist” mean?

Clocks in the source zone jumped forward over that time on that date — for example 02:30 on the day DST starts. Choose a time before or after the gap.

Can I convert between two zones that are not mine?

Yes. Both the source and target zone are free choices; your browser's zone is only the initial suggestion.
